Could this be the most important positive affirmation of all times?

Chances are that if you are into self improvement, then you are aware of how powerful and effective positive affirmations can be. Since one of the laws of attraction states that thoughts become things it only makes sense to focus our thoughts on a desired positive out-come. Positive affirmations literally forces you to focus on a specific end result. There have been thousands of great affirmations, but there is one that stands above all others!

Emile Cou’e, the 19th century French professor and master hypnotist, became a pioneer in affirmation techniques, curing hundreds of patients in Europe and North America by teaching his patients to repeat the following affirmation each morning and each evening: “Every day and in every way, I am getting better and better.” Using this affirmation alone, the healing results were nothing less than spectacular.

If that isn’t reason enough to begin to use positive affirmations, then I don’t know what is. Think about the powerful simplicity of it seriously and how you how use it in your daily life. Everyday and in every way, I am getting better and better! Every day that we live we have the opportunity to benefit from the previous day. Unfortunately, most people don’t learn from their daily experiences. They keep making the same errors over and over and wonder why their life isn’t working for them.

A few years ago ABC had a tv show called “DAY BREAK” which starred the talented actor TAY DIGGS. The premise of the show was that TAY’S character, Detective Brett Hopper is framed for the murder of state attorney Alberto Garza. Brett is on the run from the law as he tries to solve the murder. He wakes up to start the day all over again.

Each day he learns from the previous day. Pretty soon he knows how each event in the day will play out and he keeps on putting pieces to the puzzle together until he finally solves the murder. Everyday and in every way, he got better and better.

That show has had an impact on me and my appreciation for the fact that the one advantage I have today over yesterday is experience. You see, life is a series of certain situations that happen again and again. You can choose to benefit from your daily experiences or ignore them and keep on making the same mistakes over and over.

Wether you are an athlete, a student, a lawyer or entrepreneur you can surely benefit from this positive affirmation. Everyday and in every way I am getting better and better.
